My review of the DVD:
While the extras are shorter in length than the first series DVD, they make up for it in the sheer number of laughs that come flying at you. The deleted scenes make you wonder why they went, and the out takes and video diary really give you an idea of what it was like filming the show, although Gervais comes across as a bit annoying.
Really annoying actually.
I’m surprised the cast came back to do the specials with him involved.

Buy it. I’m not joking. It’s really good. Especially the documentary. But especially the episodes. You can find out how to access the Easter Eggs on each disk, as well as lots of other stuff about the DVD here.
My review of the Video:
Doesn’t have the documentary that’s on the DVD, or the easter eggs. If you have a DVD player, definitely get the DVD, otherwise I guess the series is quite good on it’s own. Well, very good. Well, excellent really!
The Series
1 scripts
Having secured my copy, I have to say I am very happy with the book. It doesn’t seem to be a script book so much as a transcript book, with each episode as they’ve been broadcast written up in perfect detail. The pages are liberally adorned with pictures from the episodes as well. What impresses most about the book, and adds to the whole experience of watching The Office is the introduction to the book. It takes the form of a series of emails written between Brent and a producer looking to make a fly-on-the-wall documentary series about modern office life, with some being equally as funny as any scene from the show.
