Neil has the ability to inspire
his staff, he’s more entertaining and efficient than Brent, more
honest, nicer, taller, thinner, better looking, other. I choose to make
this comparison because, well, that’s what the character of Neil
is there for. In a sense.
Sorry, forgot the character introduction:
Neil was David Brent’s equivalent at Swindon in the first series,
eventually getting promoted above Brent when the Swindon office was incorporated
into the Slough office.
About Patrick:
I don’t know why this keeps
happening, but Patrick Baladi, in the past, appeared in Casualty. So has
Martin Freeman, so has Stirling Gallacher (Jennifer Taylor-Clarke) and
three is enough to make it worth mentioning isn’t it?
Patrick Baladi has also been in
some other stuff such as Soldier Soldier and Grafters, but I don’t
think any of it has been as worthy as his role as Neil.
His favourite Doctor Who is Tom
Baker, because of the voice, and he joins Keith and Rachel as another
to have
undergone the Ri:se experience early on a Channel 4 morn.
