If any ever does get round to playing this, don’t tell me about it. I don’t want to know. Leave me alone.

Reading this now, you’ll fit into one of two groups of people, those who have an idea of what an Office drinking game might be, and those who don’t. To level the field:

1. While watching The Office....
2. you drink when certain stuff happens.

It’s the choosing of the stuff to drink to that makes the game “fun”.

Warning: Please think of all the advice that’s been given to you about drinking responsibly by others. For the record, I am totally against anyone ever making use of this page, and only include it here (note to self, finish off this before uploading page).

You should know whether this is your thing or not.

The Amounts

This game makes use of the classic:

One finger
Two fingers
Half glass
Whole glass

Although you can pretty much make up your own rules. Be sure that everyone knows them before you start though. Things can get nasty.

The things

These are based fairly randomly on stuff that happens throughout both series. Lazy?
Yes, I think so.

Pick a couple or a few or a few more from this lot depending on how much of a drinker you are:

One Finger:

Any time a nickname is said (eg, Brentmeister General, Finchy, Monkey Alan..)
Someone says jobs or redundancies
Someone mentions how long they’ve been working at Wernham Hogg
If someone mentions drinking
Tim calls Gareth a cock, knobend, twat...
Someone says fax
Someone mentions the oggmonster
A famous person is mentioned
Someone pretends to laugh at once of Brent’s comments
Any time Gareth says Assistant regional manager
Any time Brent says Assistant to the regional manager
Any time Gareth says Team Leader
Hat FM is mentioned

Two Fingers:

Someone says Wernham Hogg
Someone quotes a film or TV show
Brent quotes someone
A character’s age is discussed
Someone says boss
Gareth mentions his army training
Everyone in shot puts their hand up
Someone, anyone, mentions Peak Practice
Anyone says “Black man’s cock”

Half Glass:

Nobby Burton is mentioned
Brent is (even possibly) looking up someone’s skirt
We see a stapler in jelly

Whole glass:

Brent genuinely makes someone laugh, other than Gareth (yes it does happen and yes it must be genuine)
